Soooo, what up peoples! This is Prashanth and I just wanted to let you guys know that we got a lot of new videos and pictures up that you should def. check out. We're really excited about them and we got a special guest shout out which you should check out for sure.

So, if for those of you that know me, I am really obsessed with films so a lot of my blog entries are kind of just film reviews. So here we go...

I recently saw The Hurt Locker and this is a film that I recommend to everyone. Firstly, the film is oddly paced, but not in a bad way, just a bit unconventional and the overall plot is a bit obscure because it just feels like you are watching these group of soldiers work in Iraq. But, the beautiful thing about the film, is that it manages to make you not care about where the film is going. You are watching these soldiers bond, evade death by inches in the 4-5 major sequences that are in the film and you see the aftermath. They all choose to deal with it in different ways but the director gives them such life.

At certain points, the film is so well shot that it feels like a documentary about a bomb squad in Iraq. The three main characters are such an odd mix that I felt so invested in the film just to see how they get along. It is the most surreal thing. I really recommend this film, not to give you perspective about the war, but just to see interactions between real human beings. It sounds pretty mediocre...I know...but it is a great thing to take mediocre material/premises and make it sublimely magical. That is the Hurt Locker. Word.
